Changing a Tax Type

1. When you first enter the Tax Type option a Select An Option window will appear:

• EXIT – Select EXIT to exit the Tax Type option and return to the Ledger menu.
• ADD – Select ADD to add a tax type.
• PRINT LIST – Select PRINT LIST to print a list of tax types.
• A list of tax types defined in the system, if tax types have previously been defined.

Scroll to the tax type you wish to change and press Enter to confirm your selection.

2. Command options will appear:

• Change – Select Change to change the tax type.
• Delete – Select Delete to delete the tax type.
• Exit – Select Exit to exit and return to the Select An Option window.

Select Change.

3. Use the arrow keys to move between fields and make changes to the Description and Price Exception fields as necessary. Use the Tab, Page Down, Enter, or arrow keys to move through remaining fields when you are done making changes.

Note: You may only make changes to the tax type description and price exception fields.

4. Command options will appear; select Update. The tax type has now been changed.

Important: Your changes will not be saved unless you select Update.
